Warning: file(search_template.html): failed to open stream..

To start, I'd like to say upfront that I've already read the only other post that deals with this subject (http://wrensoft.com/forum/viewtopic....light=line+586). I haven't yet taken steps with my host to resolve this problem as I want to verify that this is definitely the problem.

You can view my search (and the related problem) at www.rndpig.com/ISA. What you'll see is that the search works correctly (of course), but at the top of the search page, I get the infamous error that the search_template.html file failed to open stream, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions for me to try, I'd love to hear them. I've purchased a professional license for Zoom because I love the software. I just need to figure out this perplexing problem before I can move on!

In this case the problem is a fairly simple one.

In the directory http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/pages/ you don't have a search_template.html file.

All the search files need to be in the same directory.

But search.php in directory http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/pages/ is only 1KB, not the 58KB you would expect were it the Wrensoft script. Also,there is no settings.php in the directory, which would have triggered an error before the attempt to read search_template.html. So I think http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/pages/search.php is embedding http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/scripts/search/search.php .

If so, maybe $TemplateFilename in http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/scripts/search/settings.php needs to point to http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/scripts/se..._template.html rather than http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/pages/search_template.html ? How would you do that within Zoom?

quintic, you've got it exactly right: http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/pages/search.php is embedding http://www.rndpig.com/ISA/scripts/search/search.php. Therefore, you have perfectly framed the question I should have asked in the first place: How do I put all the search files in one directory and embed search.php in a file located in another directory?

I would save myself the grief and put all the search files in the same directory (including the search wrapper file).

Otherwise you could move the template file to the same directory as your wrapper script.
